Dulcimer Capo

Excellent capo. It works
I was skeptical about ordering a dulcimer capo, so I heded review recommendations to spend the extra dough and get this one. I'm glad I did. It's a great capo and it works very well.

It is made of wood!?!?? Can't tell it's not looking at it.
Looks like walnut and a light colored wood, like maple. Works great, but had to add a small, 1/8 inch wood block between the screw and the sliding clamp to accommodate the narrow neck of my dulcimer. Another work around would be a longer screw, but the wood spacer, soaked in thin super glue worked great. If made of plastic, as others have said, I can't tell. Recommended highly.

Functionality
Was defective. Middle piece was stuck. Used flathead screwdriver to push piece to proper placement. Works ok now but if I have to move it again will have to make slot wider for ease of movement. If something is an easy DYF I'd rather do that than return it. Haven't used it with my music group yet but anticipate no problems.

High Quality
Solid, works well, good quality item. Beware of some cheaper ones that easily split.

Great capo
This thing works great! I use it almost every day with no problems. The only thing I don't like about it is how much pressure is needed to stop it from buzzing the strings. It is very useful too! I use to hold my picks when I am not using it.
