Would not recommend for accuracy
Sight is made of good quality metal, but is not accurate at all. My sight hole was crooked because the set screw was drilled into the main block at an odd angle. Might be okay for airsoft or a replica, but not a real firearm.

I don't understand why there are bad reviews for this.
I bought these iron sights because they looked like the old school A2 handle sights. And boy did they work! I've had them for about a month now and have had no issues with them. I've probably shot a 1000 rounds since I got them and I can say they are as good as you are. Fits flush with the sides of my rail so I know it's straight. The frame is aluminum but everything else is steel. It's nice being able to adjust elevation from the back again without messing with the front sight post. Do a 36 or 25 yard zero and you're good + or - a couple of inches out to over 200 meters with ball ammo. Ordered another with the front sight for a rifle with a low profile gas block.

Well made sight for the price
Well made sight for the price. I performed a 36 yd zero at the 6/3 setting (for the 300 yard Marine Corps zero) using M855 ammo and then counted the clicks necessary to adjust the zero to 50 yards and 100 yards. I verified the 50 yard zero at 200 yards (my ranges max yardage) and made adjustment to the 50 yd setting as necessary. I normally keep it set on the 50/200 yards zero setting as the keeps the round within +/- 2" of the line of sight. I still have to check the sighting difference for M193 ammo.

No accuracy!
The side that you tighten does not fit snug against the rail so no matter what you do it moves slightly. Doesn't seem like a problem if you've never hit the 300 meter target at the range and don't actually know the importance of "sight picture"If you're looking for precision, keep searching.

Good sturdy sighting system!
Man, this sighting system is built like a tank! Easy to mount and it holds up well.

Complete garbage
Received the sight this evening. Not happy with it. These sights are suppose to also have a 400 and 500 yard setting but it only has the 6/3. Also, the windage know does not feel sturdy at all and could easily be knocked off it’s setting.
