Christmas Advent Calendar Red and Green Cotton Quilting Panel Fabric Nutex 88760

I have made two of these advent calendars for my grandchildren already,my daughter is expecting another child in October this year so I ordered another one to make up.The colours are great and it’s easy to make the pockets by folding up the material.I then pad the back and also do a backing to make a pocket.I then buy a dowel and attach it with Christmas ribbons.They make lovely family heirlooms.

I love Nutex panels as they can be quickly made up into an impressive looking advent calendar. I particularly like how easy it is to make the individual pockets by folding, and they are a decent size for little gifts, not just chocolate. The instructions are printed on the side of the panel. Please note that only the panel is supplied so I needed a length of wadding and a backing fabric. I used a complimentary fabric as binding for the edges, and I attached four loops of ribbon at the top so it could be hung. I will be definitely buying some more to make up for next Christmas.

A great Advent Calendar kit, easy to make up and a good size when its completed. The order was delivered in excellent condition.
