Small hooks for Cargo Hammocks, not for hanging people
I purchased a couple of these Stainless Hammock Hooks, thinking they could be used to hang regular hammocks for people.Sadly, these are small hooks not suitable for that.The Amazon listing doesn’t show the packaging, which clearly says to use with Sea-Dog 671100-1, which is their Gear Hammock.I might be able to use these somewhere else around the kitchen or shop but can’t comment on their weight rating.I’m deducting 1 star because the listing doesn’t provide more clear information. I’m also adding a picture of the package with a quarter coin for comparison.

Thhe correct hooks
I needed more of these hook to attach a boat cover to the hull. These were about the same as the older ones that were in place.

These are hammock hooks for FOOD and STORAGE net hammocks, not PEOPLE hammocks. They work well. I've had them on my boats for years. Of course I never tried to hang a kid from them, but they are not made for that!Sometimes one just needs to use common sense!

Great little hooks!
These little hooks are great for more than just gear hammocks! We used them to attach nets to some storage bins we added in the cockpit of our 38-foot sailboat.

Useful part
Purchased this to mount to the mast, to secure a loop of bungee that holds the spinnaker pole in place. It is perfect size for that, not too small nor too large for the bungee to fit.
