I'm pleased with the quality and usability of this product. Completely satisfied.
I'm updating this review after almost a year of using these hearing aides daily. My review stands as it was first submitted. I had some minor issues, but got excellent customer support from the folks at Lexie. The product lives up to all of my expectations and more. I will caution first time hearing aide users to be patient because you have to adjust to the feel and sounds that you will hear, but over time you'll find that your brain becomes adjusted to the devices and you'll never forget to insert them first thing in the morning. So far, I'm amazed at how much Lexie's helped me. I've had them in for almost a week and I have no complaints. Feeling them in my ears is kind of weird and when I think about them I feel like I want to scratch my ears, but only if I'm thinking about them. I wore them while playing music with friends and they really helped in that regard. I could clearly hear my guitar and also my voice when I was singing. I feel they will improve my music abilities. It is kind of cool to hear things that I haven't heard in many decades like my feet resulting from the leaves when I'm walking outside on a nice dry day. The creeks of my house floor boards when I'm walking around the house, And, I no longer have to turn down the base and turn up the volume and treble on my sound system to understand a narrator reading an audiobook. In fact, I don't have to slow down the speed of the book either as I have had in the past to understand. I was slowing it to .9 or .8 of normal speed. And, the free Lexie app is very easy to use and they were easily set up for use. For now I'm only using 45 percent of the amplification, and I have set the treble up to just about 5 or 10 points, and that works fine. I usually insert them after I take a shower in the morning and I usually take them out late in the afternoon, unless I'm doing music or listening to an audiobook later in the day. They charge in three hours and the charge is supposed to last for about 15 hours. Overall, I think it was a great investment. I'm very satisfied.

Very solid Gen2 product, but Lexie/Bose need to keep EVOLVING...there is a lot more to do!!!
Got these for my 88 year old dad who has hearing loss from age and Chemotherapy...unequal (more in one ear than the other). He has used them for over 1 year now. Here are the pros/cons: PROS: - Very helpful hearing improvement except in extremely noisy/chaotic sound environments. - Good integration with app on iphone - Nice simple app for iPhone which provides nice BASIC controls (this could be hugely improved with a graphic equalizer/tone control for each ear) and "one click" memorized volume/tone settings for different environment (office, home, TV, Church, Music Hall, restaurant) - Battery life great - Battery charging easy (nice little case and magnetic dock) - Cleaning and maintenance pretty easy (order the little kit with brush, extra ear escutcheons, wax guards) CONS - Performance in noisy environments is a huge area for improvement - There seems to be room for improvement in the integration of turning the units on/off and the way the app enables adjustments. You should NOT have to turn the units off and then back on again to make adjustments with the app...this is hugely disruptive/confusing when you are in a restaurant for instance, and suddenly need to turn the volume down. My dad just takes the aids out and gives up instead of fumbling around with his 88 year old hands in a crowded environment. - Lexie/Bose has not made a substantial upgrade to the app in over a year. The pace of upgrades is glacial and does not instill confidence in overall product management at the company. The app and app/aid integration is one area that can be hugely improved with software updates...as noted above: a graphic equalizer/tone control for each ear is an obvious/logical mega-improvement and "one click" memorized volume/tone settings for different environment (office, home, TV, Church, Music Hall, restaurant) would also be a no-brainer. - The company provides ZERO information on what happens when the BUILT IN rechargeable batteries start wearing out. So far (at the one year point) they seem to be going strong, but they do not appear to be replaceable and there is no information provided by the company on expected LIFESPAN or recharging cycles, so this is starting to cause WORRY..."are these things charging properly?" - The company is NOT providing updates on new product development. Will there be a Lexie B3? When? What new features will be provided? Will my dad be able to rely on Lexie/Bose to grow with him as his hearing continues to age/decline, or will this be a one shot deal and then off to the $5,000 Oticons?

Lexie B2 OTC Hearing Aids Powered by Bose
I am completely satisfied with these hearing aids. They can only be bought in pairs, because they are designed to work together. The price is very attractive compared to the overpriced hearing aids on the market. When the Lexie B2 are used for what they are designed for they work great! However, they will not work for everyone. I was fortunate that my hearing impairment was in the correct range of these hearing aids. I have mild hearing loss in one ear and moderate in the other. If you have more than moderate hearing loss in either ear, these hearing aids will not satisfy you. (Get or take online a hearing test). Most people loose high frequency hearing first and it keeps getting worse over time. They usually notice it when it starts to affect speech and TV watching. Things like gun fire, explosions, loud head phones, loud music etc. can start the hearing loss process. Looking back, I should have protected my hearing more. I hope those of you with good hearing now, will take heed to this. The settings on the Lexie B2 hearing aids are designed to be easy to use and you do not have to be an audiologist to adjust them. The frequency loss settings are hidden in the Tone (high frequency) and Base (Low frequency) settings. The App has one slider for Tone/Bass. Many people have more loss in one ear than the other so there is a balance setting to adjust for the weaker ear. This setting works great and is easy to adjust by trial and error. Most people with hearing loss have trouble in noisy environments and I do also. There is a focus setting that lets you focus forward for conversations in noisy environments and an everywhere setting for normal environments. This works for me and I see great improvement when using this. The World volume raises and lowers the amplification and keeps your balance, focus and Tone/Base settings as previously set. The world volume works with the app or the volume button on either ear. Raising or lowering world volume on either ear set it on both ears. The last very handy feature is the saved settings one. You can save up to ten different named settings and switch between them using the phone app. One is labelled Everyday and this one is the normal setting to use most of the time. The phone app uses Bluetooth to communicate to the hearing aids. This will disconnect sometimes and unfortunately may be difficult to reconnect. I have found that if I turn off Bluetooth on the phone and then turn it back on, I can reconnect without having to put the hearing aids in to the charging dock or turning them off/on . Both of these last two methods are more difficult than just recycling the Bluetooth setting on the phone. The world volume setting I use for everyday is 40% of the max setting. They can definitely amply sound for seniors. I raise the world volume setting to 60% for watching TV so I can have the TV volume very low. The Tone setting for me is at max due to my high frequency hearing loss. Since mine is at max I can see these hearing aids will not work for people with more than moderate hearing loss. Unfortunately, those with severe hearing loss will have to select another hearing aid.

Service is terrible - excuse after excuse
Do not deal with this company. They are disorganized, do not complete tasks and I will be returning my order and wonder if I will receive a refund. Will update. Quality - appear well made. Connection to application has to be redone each time it is used. Software give you access to volume, balance (R/L) , treble /bass . About the same as a Sony walkman from the 80's. High frequencies screech if treble increased. A lot of crackle as well. Some noise reduction, but almost insignificant. My wires were too short and would fall out of ear canal often, especially when chewing. This is why I measured ears and saw that I needed wire #3. This is when I found out how poor service quality is. So I called to ask for the #3 wires and needed to email a copy of the Amazon receipt for Lexie to process. My wife emailed it to Henry in support. I was to receive a call asking for $10 for shipping. Did not happen. I call again and talk to Tsiamo, he can not see my email and goes to Henry's desk to look for receipt and can not find it. I send to Tsiamo the receipt who connects me with accounts receivable to collect the $10. Told by AR that the wires would be sent. More than two weeks later - still no wires. I call back today and am told that it was not communicated to send the wires and that they could not find a phone # or email address for me. If they would google me I do pop right up - name/email/phone number. They could have also asked me or even looked at there call log - if they have one. Buying through Amazon shortens the time you have from 45 Days to 37(?) days which makes the loss of more than two weeks too much. While writing this I have now received 2 emails from Lexie - only the loss of $1,000 appears to be enough motivation for these employees. Finally, service is not US based - only sales. Very difficult to understand what they are saying with the \ terrible sound quality of their phones. At least they are polite.

GREAT HEARING AIDS BUT DEFECT
THEY ARE GREAT HEARING AIDS FOR MY 84 YEAR OLD COUSIN, WHO I CARE FOR. THEY WORKED WELL FOR 7 WEEKS THEN WE NOTICED A DEFECT. THE RIGHT HEARING AID CAP OVER THE CONTROL BUTTON FELL OFF AND WE CAN'T FIND IT. FOR A $1000 PRODUCT IT SHOULDN'T HAVE FALLEN OFF THAT EASY. SEE PHOTO! THE COMPANY IS ALLOWING US TO SEND THEM BACK WITH A $15 CHARGE. THEY SAID IF FOUND DAMAGED THEY WON'T FIX THEM FREE, BUT IF IT'S A MANUFACTURER DEFECT THEN THEY WILL FIX THEM. THEY WORKED GOOD, JUST NO FUN USING A TOOTHPICK TO OPERATE THEM. NOW, WE ARE WITHOUT THEM UNTIL WHO KNOWS WHEN. I WILL UPDATE YOU LATER AFTER THEY DECIDE TO STICK IT TO US OR NOT.🤣 UPDATE: 2-16-24- In November 2023, the company repaired the right hearing aid by replacing the cap over the control panel that fell off. Customer service was generous and expedited the repair quickly. Three months later in February 2024, that same cap over the control panel fell off for a 2nd time. I have the cap and we did not loose it. I contacted customer service again. I have returned the hearing aids to the company for ongoing repairs, and waiting for results. The left hearing aid has never had that problem. Only the right hearing aid has an ongoing problem with the cap falling off from over the control panel. I requested that the company please replace it since it's an ongoing problem. It appears to be a manufacturer defect since it keeps happening. WARNING: Customer service advised me that they won't replace it because I purchased my hearing aids from Amazon and NOT directly from their company. They will only make repairs on the ongoing problem that I have. Interesting that they will keep making repairs on the same identical problem. I have owned them for only 6 months. When the 1 year warranty is expired it appears that I will have to pay for any future repairs including if I continue to have the same problem. I hope anybody buying Lexie Hearing Aids reviews this. Yes, they do work good, if they don't break down.

Bumpy road to get, but seem to work well enough
The first set I received did not work out of the box, Lexi stepped up quickly and got me replacements right away. I really struggled with how to rate these. These are not my first hearing aides, they are my third set. My first (and still use) are Phonak that I paid $6300 for back in 2017/18. The second are Apple airpod 4 used for work, noise cancelling and music streaming in a shop. My Phonaks are getting old, really old in today's electronic world, and are no longer cutting it in certain environments. Mainly sport events and live plays. In sports they can't tune out the people behind enough and at plays they no longer go load enough to help me hear everything. Seeing how the world has changed since my purchase of the Phonaks, I wanted to see what some of these Over The Counter hearing aides could do. Having used Apples Airpods I knew the phone testing does work, but I find Airpods are not comfortable for all day use. Enter Lexi/Bose: My first complaint would be in trying to understand the charge lights. The first rule of all battery power things is to charge them right away. Lexi even states this on the "Getting started" short cut card. The only indicator lights are on the charge/storage box. They show blinking pink, solid pink, blinking white, and solid white. Great but what does any of that mean? Not until page 66 of the owners manual do you begin to find out. Shouldn't that be on the short cut card? Next hit came from trying to register the warranty. You have to enter the serial number for each hearing aide, which can only be found on the inside of the hearing aide body. Wrote in very small font in a color only a couple shades from the housing. These required a magnifying lens and some bright light to see. Why not include a card with the serial number, your clients aren't exactly young, help us by making things easier. Things started improving from there. After both hearing aides were fully charged it was time to connect them to my iPhone. This went super easy, in fact I wish more things were this easy, and very fast. The tutorial about the aides was very easy to follow. The hearing test was very quick and very straight forward. In only a couple minutes they were tuned to my hearing loss. I could tell they were really in tune with my needs, as I felt like I could hear any and everything. Like when I got my first pair, almost to the point of overwhelming. They really showed how out of date the programming is on my Phonaks. This is where the OTC aides really shine, you feel you need to retest just do it. No scheduling an appointment, no fees (I pay out of pocket for my hearing aide stuff) and you can do as often as you want. Comparing use: these are very susceptible to feedback whistling. Very much so. I take my glasses off for reading, each time the bows pass by the mic EEEEEE. Set my head back against the head rest ,EEEE. Reach up to adjust them/glasses, EEEE. The majority of this I can stop by dropping the volume just a little bit, so that was nice (and easy) to figure out. Which brings my to app control: Very easy to learn, simply laid out. Need to change to volume, right there a big slider. Blows away anything I have used on other hearing aides. Have somebody loud to my left, unpair from each other and drop the volume on the left. Tap the pair button and both aides are doing the same adjustments again. Increase or decrease bass/treble, very simple on the screen. Tune to all around or just in front, simply a button tap away. Really nice during last nights rodeo, I could move the sound direction to front and it made it easier to hear the people beside me by just turning my head. No more amplifying everything behind me. No trying to remember which button combos would change programming, just a simple app to use. Comfort and fit: Hands down better then airpods, after some break in on par with my Phonaks. The wire that holds them in is very aggressive. Getting a proper sized cup is vital to comfort. I was able to cheat and use the cups I bought for my Phonaks. I can feel that they press a bit more, but not enough to be bothersome. I bought these to be my outside/public aides where I want better control of volume/ direction and these are fitting there nicely. I only gave them 3 stars because of the feedback whistling. They are overly sensitive to it, I'm glad they are not my only option. Lexi gets this solved these will be a top tier aide.

Bose/Lexie B2: Natural Sound and Incredible Comfort
These are my first hearing aids, and I couldn’t be happier. I only need them for higher tones—like crickets and birds—after a virus about ten years ago caused hearing loss. The Bose/Lexie B2s work exactly as promised. They boost the frequencies I was missing and bring balance back to everything I hear. One charge lasts all day and easily charge overnight. I didn’t realize how much I had lost until one night my wife and granddaughter were complaining about a super loud cricket. I couldn’t hear a thing. That moment pushed me to research options, and the Lexie B2s stood out as the clear choice. They arrived the next day, and the difference was immediate. For the first time in years, I heard crickets and birds again. The sound is natural, and the comfort is outstanding—I often forget I even have them in. If you’re looking for hearing aids that are simple, effective, and comfortable, I can’t recommend the Lexie B2s highly enough.

Excellent hearing aid value that includes Blue Tooth iPhone call streaming and noise cancelling.
I have been wearing hearing aids since 2019 due to hearing loss (more loss in the left ear, less loss in the right ear). I recently had an issue with my very expensive 4-year-old pair that was going to cost me $2,000+ for replacement. I found the Lexie B2 OTC Hearing Aids for only $899 and thought I would give them a try. I am pleased to report that they are be better than my old expensive Signia hearing aids ever were at improving my hearing. The tone adjustment is much more effective than my Signia NX3 rechargeables. My left ear has the most hearing loss. The left hearing aid now has me hearing as good as the right ear. (My Signia set performed poorly in that aspect.) They have all of the similar features such as noise cancelling settings for noisy locations, watching television, outdoor sports activities, streaming phone calls, etc. The User Manual has incorrect information regarding Blue Tooth use. It specifically states that phone calls cannot be streamed. Ignore the User Manual statement and follow the one-page insert included in the box. They stream phone calls without any issue. I downloaded the App from the Apple App Store. It easily connected to the hearing aids. I read reviews that indicated problems with that, but I had no such issues. I guess they fixed whatever Blue Tooth issues that may have previously existed. NOTE: on an iPhone, you can go to "Settings/Accessibility/Hearing Devices". It will confirm connection status, battery levels and provide other adjustments that you can make. I also read a review that complained about squealing when they get their ear near anything. I had that occur, but it was easily corrected by following the trouble shooting guidelines in the User Manual. I simply replace the vented ear dome on that hearing aid with a solid dome (included in the box). Also note that having the volume up very high will almost always cause that to occur, usually fixable with the solid cones. If you are a first-time user of hearing aids, be patient. It takes a while to get used to them. Try using them for only a few hours at a time and gradually work up to leaving them in all day. I did that in the beginning of wearing hearing aids and it work out well.
