Tested by a 4 and a 6 year old.They were instantly engrossed, and it kept them happy for a decent time.It is challenging enough without being too frustrating.I imagine that the plastic screw driver / bolt arrangement helps them to develop fine motor skills

This 5-pack set of plastic dinosaur parts comes not terribly well presented. It just arrives in a small, unattractive, brown cardboard box. There are no enticing pictures of any kind that might encourage a youngster to open it in excitement or anticipation. The box is quite tightly packed with five transparent plastic bags, each containing the parts necessary to assemble a particular dinosaur. Each bag also contains a small, crumpled-up piece of paper illustrating how those parts should be assembled. I don’t think that any of this is very appealing to the target audience … and it will need the enthusiastic participation of an adult or suitably older child to get the best out of this product. That said, a collaborative assembly of the dinosaurs does encourage manual dexterity, as well as providing an opportunity for learning and education. But the presentation should be improved.

Bought this fantastic set for my nearly 4 yr old son who has a growing obsession with dinosaurs.He loves this take-apart toy and can play with it for hours
