Is the clear band applied like a regular band and does the type of glue used matter?

Yes, they are applied like normal falsies. That said, the band was kind of stiff on mine, so I had to use my strongest eyelash glue to keep them from popping off. It might help if you wrap them around an eyeliner pencil or something to make them a little bendier/more curved. :)

Do these 3d lashes look like lashes extension?

Only if you cut them in pieces and apply under your real lashes instead over on your lash line. They can give you the extension look.

What's the best way to remove all the adhesive from packaging on the lash band? Never ever had any brand this difficult.

I don’t remove the adhesive. If you’re using black lash glue it will hide it
