Great Looks but Poorly Designed
Mine went over the stock pipe of my Cummins powered 2013 Ram. I needed to extend the tip to prevent soot accumulation on my camper skirting.Problem 1) As others have mentioned, it fits loosely on a 4" pipe. So loose that I sleeved it with 26 gauge (approx. 020" thickness) shim stock. Even then, it was still a bit loose.Problem 2) The bolt, probably metric, is slightly larger than 3/8" and has a large (17mm) hex head. So large and so close to the pipe, that a socket will not work on it. An open-end wrench will work but only through about 90* of travel directly ABOVE the pipe. Of course that didn't work, so I used a longer (2" I think) 3/8" bolt. Long enough that it would pass through the welded nut to catch a free nut on the other side. It was also long enough that I could space the head further away from the flange and pipe. I used a 1/2" nut as a spacer. This allowed room to get a socket or wrench on it.Those two issues tarnished what should have been a 5-star item. The tip itself is beautiful and should hold up well, being stainless.

Good, but not good enough
Well, first off I'll say, I love the look of this piece and it's exactly the look I was hoping for. I have a 4" afe exhaust (cheap, no, made in China? I don't know) and this in no way secured nicely to the 4" exhaust. I was worried about this from other reviews but I made it work.My recommendation = buy an exhaust tip that uses a good clamp. For my setup I would not buy this again.I ended up cutting the bolt off the top, adding a few extra slits and using a good clamp to bolt it on.

Looks good, fit well!
I don't know what others are writing that a socket won't work? That it was too loose for a 4" pipe? I had to spread mine to get it on.(Maybe the cheap Chinese pipe you have) Both the bolt using the socket and pipe fitment worked well with my 4" Stainless Steel exhaust. I really had to torque mine down, but that was expected. No issues there, it keeps the soot off my bed side. Exactly what I needed. I would recommend it.

Fits great
I just wish it was 4 to 4 instead of 4 to 5 but worked great to extend the exhaust

Great exgaust pipe
I felt like this was a very good exhaust tip especially for the price. I put it on my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad cab with a 4" exhaust pipe. Slid it right on, no problem. I adjusted where I wanted it, actually slid it out a bit further than the original exhaust pipe because the original pipe was always turning the end of my bumper black from the exhaust. 17mm socket and I was done in about 5 mins or less. I like it a lot!

Great look but a little loose
Tip looks great on my 94 Cummins. It was a little loose to fit but I put 2 pieces of rubber in between the tip and pipe and it works great. Shakes a bit at idle but nothing I'm gonna worry about

Looks good new, showing serious wear after 2 years
Originally gave this a 5 star because it looked so good when I first put it on. After having it for a couple years on my diesel, I'll say it's middle of the road. Still looks better than a bare exhaust pipe, but it's showing signs of pitting and is impossible to clean the black exhaust off. I'm not one to replace it if it isn't broken, but there's probably another option that might clean up better than this one. If you just want something affordable to add a little shine to your exhaust, then this will do that for a while.

Fits good. The inwardly rolled lip catches water and soot
Fits good. The inwardly rolled lip catches water and soot.... other than that, and being made in china, it's fine.
