I immediately love this and the shade is a perfect, classic red. I used to be loyal to the elf matte lip color sticks for over a decade, but in the past 2 years they changed the packaging and formula to much worse versions and it now seems to be discontinued. This product has everything that originally made me fall in love with the old elf product — smooth application, vivid color payoff, great consistency, and sturdy, reliable packaging so that the stick doesn’t rattle inside the tube and break (an issue that occurred after elf changed their product). This is my new go-to! It’s the perfect in-between version of a lip liner and lipstick.

I have very fair skin, i would say the pictures showing the swatches/wearing don’t match the actual product on skin. However pair it with a darker lip liner and its all good!
