外装ですが、可動式のカバーは金属、USBプラグが付いている本体はプラです。 少し放熱性が心配ですが、上手いこと金属部分に熱伝導しているようで、きちんと金属部分が熱くなります。 ちなみに、連続負荷をかけても触り続けられる程度の発熱で収まっています。 代々ExtremePROのUSBメモリを使ってきましたが、艶消しグレーの外装は過去一の質感だと思います。 造りも丁寧で気に入りました。 速度については、ベンチでは公称値通りの数値です。 実使用では、PCからエクスプローラー上で600GBくらいの連続書込みをしましたが、最初の120GBくらいは520MB/s前後を維持し、その後420MB/sくらいで安定、という感じの挙動を示します。転送速度の著しい上下動はありません。 不満点があるとすれば、CrystalDiskInfoでドライブが検出されないことくらいでしょうか。 おま環かもしれませんが・・・。

Bit expensive but worth it. It’s sturdy and good read and write speeds.

This drive is certainly bigger and heavier than most drives. That being said, it is exceptionally fast and capacious. I get speeds of over 800 megabytes (not megabits!) per second. It works well on mac and PC and feels high quality. It does heat up, but doesn't seem to overheat. One downside is that only the USB C or the USB A ports are covered, but not both. I do recommend this drive, it's built well, fast, and large. I would recommend splurging on the higher capacity models as I feel like that makes more sense for a drive like this, but it depends on what you need from it. I would recommend waiting for a sale of at least below $160 which seems to happen frequently for this drive.

This item is only compatibel with Windows 10 and 11. It will not work with Windows 7. I don't know about Mac OS.
