WeWoodMen's Date Black Wooden Watch

I purchased one for my boyfriend, sister, and self one week shy of a month. An additional purchase of a screw driver kit was required to readjust the tricky bands. However, once readjusted, I love it and wear my beige date all the time! The light weight makes it a comfortable accessory in the sticky summer heat. Overall, it is just eye-catching and an interesting piece.I am concerned about the durability as there is an area that looked to have been mended slightly with some acrylic, and the back of the face has some fraying. This particular problem was not seen in the black and brown date I also purchased. Of course, I bought the Wewoods for the style and am willing to be more careful.

If I could make this 0 stars I would. I dumbly assumed that paying a little more for the watch would mean a better quality product. Not so with this. The watch arrived with a cracked glass face. The watch FEELS cheap. And it's REALLY small for a men's watch. My husband has to have links taken out of all of his watches and when he tried this one on it was too small. Very poorly made product. Read the reviews, they are very accurate regarding quality. We are sending it back and getting something different.

Absolutely gorgeous watch! The wood tone is so unique and is versatile with a variety of outfits! The wood color has slightly changed over the last year and got a little darker (maybe from oil from the skin). The second issue is when the battery wears out make sure you go to a legit watch repair company to get the back off, my husband and I took it to 2 different places before we found someone with the right tool. (It was frustrating because the other companies scratched the delicate wood back) It is durable and we look forward to buying more!

Yes, this is a men's watch, and I am not a man, however i was looking for a large mens-style watch to wear, and this is exactly what i wanted! it is soo pretty in person - the natural grains of the wood look so pretty and organic. it weighs nothing, so light on my wrist which is great since it is quite large - i am average in size, not overly petite, but not big boned - and i could not see this size working on the wrist of anyone smaller than I am, as the face takes up the majority of my wrist - i had to have a few links removed at the watch guy, not a big deal. it is more like a bracelet than a watch. I really love it, as I like natural unique things, and this is both!

This watch looks nice, but beware! It can be deceiving. First off, the watch description is black. Wrong, it's Dark brown. Closer examination of the picture reveals this. Holding it in my hands right now, it is not black. The second major flaw of this watch is the band. In other reviews I read that it was hard to take it off but you never really know unless you try it for yourself! I think it would be easier and faster to crack a safe than remove these band screws. You have to hold 2 screwdrivers perfectly horizontal while twisting one of them to unscrew the pin. Rinse and repeat about 4 times and you've lost a full hour. The third big problem I had with this watch was the clasp. It takes literally 2-4 futile, frustrating minutes to get this watch on and off. Having longer fingernails helped but only for removing it. This watch is like a $120 rubik's cube with no solution. Did I forget to mention it's made in China? They sheepishly print that on the back of the watch in the smallest print possible.Buy at your own risk. Go check out Tense watches, they are sturdier, colored properly, made in Canada and feature a much faster link removal and clasp.

WELL BUILT AND ATTRACTIVE WATCH - GREAT FOR THOSE LIKE ME THAT DO NOT TOLERATE THE NICKEL IN STAINLESS STEEL WATCHES AND STRAPS. ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THE FACT THAT THE MOVEMENT APPEARS TO BE FAIRLY CHEAP. ONE WONDER WHY SAVE HERE!??

Gave to my daughter for Christmas. She wore it once or twice and the glass fell out. Things went nut in our family, I was told I had breast cancer. Since my diagnosis, double mastectomy and two additional surgeries on my right breast. We truly put the watch aside and did not think about it until a few days ago. Now my daughter called and was told we would have to pay to send it back and also pay to have it repairs. I would love someone to response to this comment. Not sure I agree with your business repair department. I will be having reconstruction surgery on Monday, July 27, 2015. I will be looking for a follow up. I got one of these when they first came out. I loved it and lost it in my travels. They have become much more popular and are quite a conversation piece. This one came on time and was exactly as I had expected it. Good purchase and would recommend it to anybody

Pros: A fantastic watch that feels durable and looks good. Aside from having great value, the face actually glows in the dark which was a nice unknown feature. I constantly get comments about how smart the watch looks.Cons: Be a bit careful with it as you can scuff it up in the day-to-day a little easier than with a metallic watch. Likewise, It will absorb some of your sweat and can start to smell. You'll notice it if you have a tendency to lean on your arm while working like I do.Overall the watch is well worth the purchase. Make sure to treat it kindly and it will treat you even better!

A bit disappointed as the glass fell out! Also trying to get spare links is a nightmare! Nice watch though and we mended the glass ourselves. But buy from UK shop if you can just for ease of extra links you might need as the strap is really small

Ich bin sehr über das Gewicht erstaunt, da steht zwar 47g aber wenn man es an hat dann fühlt sich das so an als würde man keine Uhr tragen, man spürt sie kaum und das ist sehr angenehm, es ist in etwa so leicht als hätte man einen Streifen Karton ums Handgelenk. Sieht super chic aus! Schade finde ich nur das sie nicht einmal spritzwassergeschützt sein soll. Is natürlich doof wenns regnet oder man damit joggen geht, vielleicht kann man ja ein Holzimprägnier-Öl oder sowas auftragen für mehr Wasserschutz.

What a great quality watch! Gave it to my boss for Christmas - the man who has everything. This is something completely unique and different. I will probably be ordering another one for my boyfriend - he was so jealous!Thanks so much!
