GuliKit TMR Joystick Replacement Module for PS4 DualShock Controller

Great replacement for the original drift heavy Xbox sticks. The added joystick caps are actually pretty nice as well, feel about the same and have an added metal ring on the stem to reduce plastic dust and wear and tear. Would definitely recommend these as a replacement since they're cheaper than a new controller and helps prevent further e-waste. Hopefully will never have to replace them anytime soon (or ever again?). For those who are perhaps a bit uneasy about de-soldering and soldering in general, check with your local game stores to see if they can replace them. So long as you provide the sticks and do the re-calibration (the Xbox itself can walk you through it) then I'm sure they'd probably do it for a cheaper price then buying another controller.

any PS4 should update these. i did a full video on the replacement of them, its easy. combine this with a battery upgrade and your set for life, no more drift! TMR is Tunnel Magnetic Resistance. and its magnetics vs carbon disk rubbing that causes the wear which causes the drift. here is my video on it i hope this helps sell you on these. they are easy to replace with a little soldering, they fit perfectly and work great. and not expensive at all!! great value.

This is the best product to aquire if you are looking to avoid stick drift and constant recalibration. I've had this on both of my PS5 remotes for a year with constant use and they hold strong. Installation does require some desolderingg and resoldering, so if you are tech savvy, This job is easy. This price is well worth its weight in its use ability.

These have saved many controllers around my house. They work great. Not super easy to install until you figure out how to remove the solder Sony uses. My advice investing in a good solder vacuum. Fit perfect, great texture on top, have lasted quite awhile , good replacement for failing factory sticks when they get drift.

These sticks are dream come true...Don't know how else to say it really...I installed them myself using leaded solder nice and flush to the board, calibrated them using a free tool online and I can't say I've ever had such a premium controller experience like this. These deliver a smooth, stutter free, zero point, driftless experience like no other. They feel better than the stock potentiometers that come standard and PRE BROKEN from Sony and whoever their supplier is. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because one of the sticks has a very strange double click when it is depressed to function as a L3 or R3. Only one stick seems to be affected by this and I doubled back over the internals to make sure I didn't make a mistake or that there weren't any structural supports missing within the chassis. It is only a mild annoyance in reality and 90% of what was annoying about it is it making me second guess my installation work for a few hours. These offer a SMOOTH, PEERLESS experience that I imagine comes with expensive 3rd party controllers. I definitely recommend!

Installed these in a couple of hours on an older xbox controller 1708 model. install was straight forward if you know how to solder. Maker sure to have a solder sucker and good flux on hand. It was also nice that they come with new stick tops that look better than the old ones. You should know that you will need to recalibrate the sticks after install. If you have a 1708 controller you can flash newer firmware on to it and use the xbox accessories app to calibrate on windows. For the price I have zero complaints and is a great way to cut down on e waste as well.

Swapped my old joysticks for these GuliKit TMR magnetic ones and my controller feels brand new. No drift at all, movements are smooth and accurate, and the install was straightforward if you’re comfortable opening a controller. If you’re tired of fighting stick drift, these are worth every penny.

These are high quality replacements for the original sticks and work perfectly, even with the deadzones in games completely turned down to 0. They should last basically forever too. Definitely worth the price. The replacement stick caps feel a bit low quality, so I just reused the ones that were on the controller to begin with. Don't be intimidated by having to solder these on. Soldering is extremely easy and you can learn how to do it from watching a couple YouTube videos. Desoldering factory solder is a bit trickier, but you could probably go to an electronic repair shop and have them install the new sticks for somewhat cheap if you don't want to figure it out yourself.

These have breathed new life into my limited edition xbox controller that kept getting stick drift issues. Even after disassembling and cleaning the potentiometers twice on the original, drift would come back after a couple of months. Couldn't bear to part with my beloved controller so fitted these into it and have had zero problems since. Very happy that the original thumbsticks are compatible with this, so the external look of my controller hasn't changed. Installation of the first took a long time as my desoldering pump was old and clogged, but once I replaced that the second one was replaced in 10 minutes! I will say that the installation is for more experienced solderers, but worth the time. Feeling very confident in the quality of these sticks, while they have a slightly different feel to the original, it's only noticeable for the first 30 minutes, then you no longer notice it (and they may even feel better than the original). Calibration was no problem and handled by the Xbox Accessories software, requiring no fiddling like a hall effect joystick would. Very happy with this purchase and the time I took to install them, now I no longer have to worry if my beautiful controller is going to become an annoying burden every few months!
