Do i need to purchase ink pad separately? if so, what size? thanks in advance. or is this self inking?

Ink pad is sold separately, a 5"x7" pad is recommended for the 4" x 3" stamp.

Question 2

Can you make the relief higher/taller? I want to use this to imprint my signature on paintings and don't want to imprint the stamp's rectangle.

The height of the laser-engraved rubber imprint is not adjustable. We do remove excess rubber from areas of "whitespace" to prevent shadow imprints.

Question 3

I would like my rocker stamp to rock horizontally left to right rather than vertically up and down, how do I specify this during the ordering process?

Our normal business practice is to maximize the image to the stamp size. This means aligning the longer side from your image to the longer stamp size. You do not need to worry about this looking correct in the Amazon Customize Now preview page.

That said, the Amazon Customize Now page does have a way to rotate your image. Depending on the size of your image (you may need to make it smaller first) you should see a dot above the middle of the image. Click down and hold on this dot and then drag your mouse in a circular motion to rotate the image. Again, this is not required, but can help you see how your image fits on the stamp size you selected.

The preview boxes provided on the Customize Now page have the same length to height ratio as the associated stamp so you can see if your image leaves unused space on any side.

Question 4

Need a stamp for hockey puck?  Figured 4x4 stamp would be best.  Will these work with white ink?

We offer flat stamps that would probably work better for a hockey puck. Just search Amazon for "Infusion flat wood stamp".

You an use with any color ink with our stamps, but white ink is sometimes problematic as the background color can bleed through. You might try another bright color like Yellow or Fuchsia.
