My autistic son has been semi-obsessed with the tail on his Sorcerer Mickey plush animal and I figured he'd have fun with this. I was right! I walked into his room wearing it and he immediately stopped what he was doing and ran over to check it out. I took it off and he put it on and left it on the rest of the day and showed it to my wife the instant she pulled into the driveway. I'm pretty sure he's wear it when we go out to do stuff or to school if we let him, but he understands the limits. Anyway, it seems well made and it looks exactly like Mickey's tail (there are LOTS of different kinds of costume tails to choose from on Amazon), so it was perfect for him. And you can't beat the price so that even if he didn't go for it you haven't lost that much money. I would recommend.

My daughter chose this tail to complete her Halloween costume (cat, if that wasn't obvious!). She is wary of safety pins, which is how most costume cat tails are fastened to the user's outfit. This one looked so much better for her because it was a "belt style" - no safety pins! It seems to stay up well, surprisingly. Paired it with paw "gloves" and a cat mask and we were good to go. For reference, my daughter is a 10 year old who wears girl's size 14-16 (she is 4'10 and 105 lbs). The belt is stretchy and she doesn't find it too tight, but I don't think it would be a comfortable option if you are over, say, a women's size 4. It is definitely better sized for older kids, preteens, and smaller teens/adults. It leaves slightl mark on her skin if she wears it a few hours but doesn't seem to bother her at all. The tail does bend and holds shape well for photos, but after wearing it for a while it seems to straighten out a bit and lose shape. No matter, my kid loves it and now wears her cat tail all over the house - definitely perfect for our needs. I think she almost fooled our real cats into thinking she was "one of them"...
