Does this game require just a standard C battery?

For non-battery experts, this requires a regular old C battery that you are thinking. Box confusingly states: 1.5v/c E93 and for those of us that do not speak battery-ese that is very confusing and results in a wasted 30 minutes of driving to the store and not seeing anything that matches that description and 20 minutes of wasted google searches.

No it's not. The object of the game is to get your pole in the correct position, so that when the fish closes it's mouth you are able to pick up the fish. My great-grandsons are 3 and 5 and they love this game.

Can you turn the song off? Or does it play row row row your boat the entire time?
