Alex Active Yoga Kids Activity Exercise Mat

I am absolutely in love with this puzzle piece yoga mat. My son went absolutely crazy for the moment that he saw it was puzzle pieces. He loves all the characters that were on it and try to imitate the poses instantly. I like the book that was included inside of it that gave instructions and suggestions on different obstacle course games you can play with the puzzle pieces. The pieces are very durable and shock absorbent for comfort if he wants to jump. And they are very easy to clean. You just wipe and you're done. I also love the little carrying case they came in. Dad's going to be extremely useful for what we're traveling to play.

I love the idea of this but the "cat 3" tile is missing and was replaced with a random "cow 3" when there's not even a 1 or 2. Another thing Is that the pictures are also a little difficult for young toddlers to understand, so they could use a little fixing. Other than those 2 things, the mat is very sturdy and good quality, perfect size, bright colors and I can see this being used quite often in the future when shes able to understand some of the poses a bit later.

It’s a cute mat, texture is similar to the big letter and number mats you see. We use it before school (along with the Alex yoga blocks) to get going for the morning and my kids absolutely love it.My only complaint is that the poses come in sets of 3 with the same image of an animal. All except the cat. The first 2 pictures are of a cat and the 3rd is of a cow. It’s weird and of course the kids have to call it out every time they see it. “Why is that a cow?! Where’s the rest of the cat!?” Seems odd they would do it that way, but all in all it’s a good buy.

Overall, the concept is good. I dont know that my 2.5 year old son really sees the point, although weve tried for a few weeks. He just likes putting the pieces together with the animals.One thing I haven't seen others comment on is the fact that there are two cats and one cow. All of the rest of the animals are in threes. Maybe I'm missing something, but if you're ocd about things matching- this wont match. Maybe it's a yoga thing I'm not well versed on..cat, cat, cow?

Very cute animals and love you can move the prices around but I’m disappointed we didn’t get all three movements for the cat. See photo.

I purchased this for my daughters fourth birthday and, although reluctant to purchase it due to a large quantity of toys she possesses, I am SO glad I did!!! I enjoy practicing yoga a few times a week and this has helped inspire her to workout with mommy! It also helped her refresh her numbers by ensuring the mat was set up in numeric order so that was an added bonus in my opinion.

I loved everything about the "idea" of this mat for my 4 year old Granddaughter, but unfortunately it's not completely functional, as it comes apart when using it on carpeting. I'm not able to return it because the return window has closed, otherwise I would. Cute idea, but it doesn't really work.

Bought this for my granddaughters for Christmas and they love it! The poses are right on the mat and my girls do yoga while I do it!

My kids love this mat and I love knowing the moves on hand. FYI The cat turns into a cow. And aparently this is an actual yoga move called cat cat cow! I thought it was an print error haha. You learn something everyday :)
