Wisteria on hormones (plant food 😀)
Ordered my wisteria May 5. It's is growing like crazy and is starting to bloom. I can't wait to plant it in the ground.

WILL NOT GROW - GARBAGE
Would give it 0 stars if possible. "Gave it time" as instructed - TWO YEARS. Did everything I possibly could to make it grow. Never was more than a stick. Finally threw it away & bought a real one. Absolute garbage. Don't waste your money.

Year #3 and I have bloom! ☺
So I wanted to take a moment to post my experience with my 2018 purchase of Royal Purple Wisteria. Like so many comments left here...I too received a pencil thin stick in the mail. I immediately planted it in a larger pot and left it outside and kept an eye on it making sure it had enough water during high heat, etc. Year #2 I planted it in the ground and trained it to grow up my home cutting off laterals as they grew forcing the plants energy into climbing. Year #3 and I now have bloom. The bloom is not as purple as I had hoped for but this may be a byproduct of its young age and may deepen with age...not sure. I certainly hope I received the correct Wisteria. Anyway....I just wanted to let folks know that just because the plant you receive is small...three years is a short investment for wisteria to bloom so keep your chins up! Happy gardening!!

Wisteria
I bought this plant in 2015. I keep it in 10 gal pot. I prune roots every 2 years and re-pot with fresh soil

Happy so far
It was growing fine & then someone used round up on it but it actually came back. Hopefully it will make it through winter & take off in spring.
