Lovely but light weight
I was hoping for something a little bit thicker then what came. It is lovely, but I would not buy it again.

I ordered two of these to replace the clear ones that were originally on lamps I came across. They are just fine, they were packed very well and survived shipping in perfect condition. The frost finish is just enough to soften the glare of a lightbulb and suit my purpose just fine. I was a little concerned about breakage because these things are pretty thin, but they way they were packed was great. I couldn't find frosted ones like this in stores around me so ordering from amazon was the only choice. I recommend these to anyone who is searching for frosted chimneys, these are excellent.

Does provide filtered light
This is over a 3 way light bulb and the glare in a clear glass was too much. The frosted glass makes reading much better.

Quality chimney, well-packaged - glass is a bit thin, need to careful when fitting this to clamps on the lamp.
