Orchid Potting Mix Orchid Bark, Pine Bark and Perlite Mix, Good Drainage and Water Retention (2 Quarts)

States that it contains Perlite. It does, in microscopic amounts. My bag has an off-odor. This product is made in China. It does not say on the bag what it contains. Chunks are considerably larger than the pictures show.

This is my first time using orchid potting mix I hope it's good.

I’ve purchased this orchid substrate several times and it’s consistently excellent. Great quality, retains moisture well, and promotes healthy root growth. I’ll definitely keep buying it.

This bark is nice and chunky for sure ! I found no evidence of bugs upon inspecting although, I put it away for future use and found damp chips making a moister mess . I didn’t realize it needed to be dried out due to never encountering before. Thank goodness, I did or it would be moldy. It didn’t smell except of damp wood when reopening. Though buyers beware let this bark set open till it’s not so moist. All and all it’s a decent thick grind .

I had to repot my orchids and this mix has worked great. I don't have a green thumb, so I need all the help I can get and this potting mix has worked very well. Since repotting, the orchids are thriving and I couldn't be more happy.
