Ethnic Gourmet, Chicken Masala, 9 oz (Frozen)

About as ethnic as American Chinese food. The rice is not Basmati, it's Uncle Ben's. The portion of chicken is abysmally small; the dish is 90% rice. The masala sauce is watery and tastes bitter, as if someone added Dove soap into the recipe. I would not feed this to to a captive I was torturing. This is the kind of "food" even starving children would wince while eating. I'm fairly sure that if my garbage can could force itself to vomit, it would be doing so right now.

There is no expiration date marked anywhere. So this pack that I just ate might be 3 years old since it says "2010 the hein celestial group".Why is it so hard to just put expiration date on package? I know fridge food has longer shelf life but not telling us how long it is is just more disgusting.

I haven't bought the 12 pack off amazon, so I don't know about the expiration date, as the previous commenter posted, I buy them individually from the grocery store. Not too sweet, which was my problem with Tandoor and Saffron Road. I just add a little red chili pepper flakes for some kick and more curry (I love lots of curry). I do wish it had basmati rice, however. Nonetheless, great flavor!!
