Overall, it's a good set, and one of the best available new today if you're after a booster and some good, banked curves. I have 3 major critiques: 1. The banked curves aren't banked ENOUGH. Compared to an old hot wheels banked curve I have, they aren't as steep. The consequence is they rely too much on the overhanging sidewalls to keep the cars in place, rather than a proper bank for the wheels to roll on. This means the sides of the cars are sliding along the walls a lot, and if the walls aren't smooth and slippery the cars won't make it around the track. This leads me to the next point. 2. The rubber wheels, at least initially (we haven't had it long enough to judge long term), give off some rubber dust which gets stuck to the cars and deposited on the walls of the curves. This makes the curve walls sticky and slows the cars down DRAMATICALLY. To the point the cars won't make it around the figure 8 back to the booster anymore (some other reviews mention this also, but I haven't seen any that diagnosed it correctly). I used GOO GONE (see photo) to clean the curves. It worked much better than soap and water, and restored proper operation. 3. The track should come with more than one set of classic track adapters.

Track pieces are easy to connect and high quality. However, wish it was possible to do more of your own configurations… without the instructions I can never get them together the right way, let alone my son (3.5 yo)-so I’m constantly having to construct it for him and definitely cannot lose the instruction booklet

This was a Christmas present for my 6 year old, it's super easy for him to put together and build different tracks. I'm looking at buying the Barbie edition for my daughters. I really appreciate the durability and ease of use for this item.

Loud, but lots of fun for my nephew. Perfect noisy gift to get back at my sister for all those fire trucks she bought my kids years ago. Does not hurt fingers when accidentally inserted between propulsion wheels and car, or my nephew is a trooper.

Das Track-Schnellstecksystem funktioniert zuverlässig, und dank der Adapter ist das Set problemlos mit bestehenden Hot-Wheels-Bahnen kombinierbar. Der motorisierte Beschleuniger bietet ausreichend Kraft, um die Fahrzeuge zuverlässig zu beschleunigen und über die Strecke zu schicken. Gerade der Sprung sorgt für zusätzlichen Spielspaß. Das mitgelieferte Fahrzeug im Maßstab 1:64 passt gut zum Set und ist sofort einsatzbereit. Im Praxiseinsatz zeigt sich, dass die Batterien zwar nicht günstig sind, dafür aber eine gute Laufzeit haben. Unser Kind hat sehr viel Spaß mit der Bahn, was letztlich der wichtigste Punkt ist. Fazit: Ein empfehlenswertes Streckenset, besonders wegen des leistungsstarken Beschleunigers, der inzwischen nicht mehr überall erhältlich und teilweise recht teuer geworden ist. Für Hot-Wheels-Fans und bestehende Bahnsysteme eine sinnvolle Erweiterung. I've reached an age where the next generation is turning out sprogs at an increasing rate. Sometimes they come to visit, and they need entertaining! I don't want to just plonk them in front of a screen and colouring only holds the attention for so long. Hot Wheels to the rescue. That's my excuse, at any rate.
