Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 (Prima's Official Strategy Guide)

An interesting book,but I felt it was not as useful as the strategy guidefor Red Alert. Worth the money, however.

If you're looking for a guide to help you through the missions, then this book might be for you.If like me you're looking for tips and strategies for MultiPlayer games (much more fun), unlike what the cover states, you're going to find very little. Subtract the information you could also find in the Red Alert 2 manual, plus the simple things anyone will discover by themselves after a few games, there are only a handful of eye-openers in this manual. There are a lot of tricks I've personally found out that are not in this book, and I'm not even a very good online player. I've found several useful tips by searching on the Internet that are not in this book either.Considering that this book comes with the Westwood logo on the front, I think Westwood could have easily added another 50% to the book with real insights about how the game works and how it should be played. Disappointing.
