Initially, very pleased with the aesthetic quality of the light produced by the bulbs. However, within 3 weeks 2 out of 6 bulbs literally fell out of the socket in which they were screwed into. Luckily they were in desk lamps and fell on a pile of papers. It was so weird as I had never had this experience where the outer part of a bulb actually detached. I contacted Philips, sent pictures, and they had me fill out a long questionnaire as if they doubted my story and treated me like I "screwed them in wrong".... Sorry, Philips, I have decades of bulb screwing experience. Not my fault.I Googled and found that others have had similar experiences. Don't expect Philips to give you replacement bulbs...they will just waste your time on the phone, insist you answer endless questions, want you to mail the damaged bulbs to them and then wait 6 weeks for any kind of response because they work on the assumption that you are trying to pull a scam to get free lightbulb. Unbelievable.

They both look and act like normal light bulbs. Light comes out in all directions, with no shadow at the base of the bulb. Color is great. Same size as a standard bulb so fits any fixture. I wish they had a 75-watt-equivalent bulb, but for places where a 60-watt equivalent will do, these are perfect.

Never ever buy GE bulbs!!!!! From now on it's Philips only. I bought a dozen GE bulbs in bulk for a "low" price. Every one had blown in less than 2 days each. I thought I was losing my mind ot that I needed a new lamp. Then when these arrived, they worked just fine.

I got these for our master bedroom. They really brighten up the room to daylight level. It takes some getting used to after the years of yellow light in the room. Very comfortable now and I really like them.

Out of 6 bulbs one was already broken. I needed all six for new lamps for a family gathering. Too much hassle to send back so I guess I'll just accept it as this is the first problem I have encounterd in over a decade. Should have been wrapped in bubble wrap but it was all to one side of the bulbs. Oh, well.

Exactly what I was looking for. They fit my standard light bulb fixtures and I was able to remove the yellow/orange glow in the room and replace it with a comfortable white light that isn't glaring.

These work well. I had some generic ones that flicker, this brand has not flickered at all.

Initially every thing was fine-then I tried to unscrew bulb-it snaps off in your hand! I think glass was too thin-tried to call phillips to let them know-was put on hold for 15 minutes so I just gave up. Poor quality control. never buy their products again.
