Winsor & NewtonCalligraphy Ink, 30ml (1-oz) Bottle, Blue Black

My kids really wanted to learn how to draw with feather pens, so we got some + calligraphy artist nibs and experimented with 4 different brands of ink… this one is the clear winner! The consistency of the ink is amazing, it keeps going and going, whereas other brands, we have to dip the pens frequently. Color is vibrant. It washes off hands well. Would recommend!

I bought this ink to fill a cartridge converter in my Calligraphy pen. It lasts so much longer than the cartridges do. The color is very pretty and shows up well on darker stationery paper. I haven't spilled the bottle yet!

I've got a degree from art school and I love working with ink. It seems like I've tried every possible ink on the market and this series is probably the best for me. The colours are deep and stable, it flows nicely and I can use either pen or brush. Check out the picture - I'm doing artwork for music albums, this one was done mostly with our W&N Sepia ink. It's cool to work with and the results are great. If you mix it with water you can get brighter shades of brown, more transparent and less opaque.

With a rather wide range of what is considered sepia color, this ink falls within the darker side of the spectrum. If you prefer the darker range, like I do, this ink is great to use. It dries fast and when used for sketching, I noticed it won't get a smudge affect if re-activated a bit with a water brush. So, maybe an application while the ink is still wet can yield the desired look.I think I finally found the sepia color that I was looking for. Not sure if this is also available in larger than 30ml, that would be great.

I like the color and I believe the quality was good. I would buy it again and I think it's a good value for your money.

I bought lighter shades in the past, but this is my new go to. Smooth. Vivid. Looks great!

Tinta perfeita, recomendo para todos.

No es muy espesa pero tampoco demasiado líquida, es un término medio pero tirando a líquida, no se exparce y queda la tinta en el papel.

Es un color rojo quemado. La entrega bien

Essa tinta é ótima para pintura aquarelavel, dá pra conseguir vários tons de roxo diferentes até o lilás mais claro. A cor pura é um roxo bem escuro quando colocada sobre o papel e que clareia um pouco após secar.Ele atendeu muito bem as minhas demandas, super recomendo.
