I wore out my first pair and bought a second
I love these sandals. I wore my first pair for two years. They were still in good shape, but had a little too much wear at the back to wear to work, so I bought a second pair just to be sure I'd get one before they stopped making them. These sandals are excellent sneaker substitutes. I've worn them running and I walk 5-10 miles in them every day. They're cool in the summer without socks. You can wear them with socks when it's cold or when you're hiking.I like them much more than other hiking/sneaker sandals that I own because they have a slimmer fit and look more elegant and less clunky. They look surprisingly good with dress slacks or even with casual dresses (they are obviously not dress sandals). They wear like iron. My last pair's sole was in excellent shape after two years of hard wear. The upper looked fine. I only replaced them because the suede on the lower back heel was getting skuffed up. I will continue to wear my old pair for walking and in the barn. I'm saving my new ones for work.

Comfort is EVERYTHING!
I had a pair of Mudd shoes very similar to these in appearance and thought they were the most comfortable shoes ever! I had to replace them this summer when my sisters dog decided to use one as a chew toy. I went online to see if I could find another pair and found the sandals that I had as well as the Skechers Bikers Excursion. The Skechers were a little more expensive but I've had other Skechers before so I decided to try these. WOW, was I glad I did!! You put these on and it's like you're walking on air. I wore them to Cedar Point all day and for the first time after walking around that much my feet did not hurt when I got home!! If you're looking for a comfortable sandal type shoe, give these a try! Best purchase I've made in a long time.

My Second Pair - I love these shoes
This is my second pair of these shoes and I'm tempted to buy a third pair because I'm afraid Skechers will discontinue them before my new pair wears out. Mine are still comfortable and wearable but they are starting to look worn out even though they feel as good as new. I've had my shoes for at least five years. I bought them because the name had the word Biker in it and I thought they were for biking. There was no break in period. I wear them golfing, hiking, rock climbing, biking, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding. I would have worn them white water rafting but I was too afraid of losing one. They have traveled around the world with me. These are my go to outdoor shoe. They recover fast from getting wet. I can't say enough good things about them. If I could wear them to work I would!

Great summer shoe!
I hate wearing regular shoes in the Summer months. I like sandals, but so many of them expose your toes; I think I have ugly toes. And, if my feet feel hot, I feel hot! A friend of mine recommended these. I like the fact that air circulates and my ugly toes are hidden from view. I also have suffered from plantar facsitis in the past, so I have to be very selective of the shoes I wear. I need at least a small heel to keep my feet feeling good. I would recommend these to a friend as well. I am very happy with my purchase.

Hard soles not comfortable!
Bought these as replacement for another pair which I had for several years and wore out. These have a very hard sole which hurts the soles of your feet after wearing a while. I tried adding gel soles which didn't work so great but helped a little. Not the same comfortable wear as pair I bought in the store - don't know why? Are these Skecher knock offs or did the company cheapen the quality? I WOULD NOT buy again. Only wear when don't plan to walk much.

Walking in Europe - not so much
I went on a 15 day educational tour of Europe where we walked from the time we awoke until the time we fell into bed exhausted.I needed a pair of walking shoes that would endure this extensive walking. All the reviews I read about these shoes complimented them on their comfortable walking.I found it quite the opposite.By the end of the third day my feet hurt so badly that I wanted to cry. My feet were overheated and sore at the balls of both feet. The beginning of the fourth day I had to go purchase a pair of tennis shoes, which put a dent in our limited budget, but I was grateful that I did that. I would never had made the entire tour on these Skechers. They are a comfortable shoe for me for short term walking, but the miles we put on during the tour - my feet were glad to be out of them.

Size down for short, wide feet
I am size 9 in regular shoes, but athletic shoes I have to get in 8 and sometimes even 7.5 because they are mostly made wider and they fit nicely on my "flintstone" feet. This shoe was too large for me, but super comfy, and priced right so I didn't return it, instead I gifted it to someone whom they were fitting just fine. They feel like socks on your feet, I am kidding you not! I also like the color (doesn't matter if they get dusty) and I will update this as I hear more about how they perform outdoors.

They don't fit right!
I had a pair of these in the past and used them every day during the summer month. They had a wonderful grip, that I needed as a massage therapist, and feel just great. Unfortunately these ones don't hold up at all, they don't fit right! I slip out of these ones all the time and the smaller size is too small. I don't know what happened but I will not wear them but donate them to good will!
