how do I open the bottle top to spray?

The silver colored cap, which has 2 gold colored rings attached the the base of it, pulls off to reveal the pump actioned sprayer. I would like to add that this is a beautiful and timeless fragrance. I got it for my wife a few years back and she uses it daily. To date, I believe we have baught a total of 4 or 5 bottles... She uses it that often! I highly recommend it.

Is this a genuine product?

It was a gift for a person who values genuine perfume and cosmetics; she will never wear anything else. She loved it. So I figure it's genuine.
