I kept seeing tons of negative reviews for non-steel risers and so I spent a little more on these to be safe. Very happy that I did; they have been used under 2 different size beds and show no sign of scratching or bending no matter what is placed on top of them. They raise the bed almost 3 inches exactly as advertised. My only complaint is the design of the top piece allows for a lot of potential movement of the bed corner, but as of yet I haven't seen anything slip off so it may just be a visual thing. Overall I do recommend this product especially if you are concerned or had issues with plastic risers breaking over time

The risers seem sturdy enough although they are much larger around than they appear in photos on line. They are difficult to set up under a king-sized bed due to the two-piece construction which makes them come apart. They need to be one piece for such a large mattress so that they do not separate when trying to move the bed a little.They are under there now and I won't push on the frame from fear of them separating! LOL.....I will let you know when I land on the floor! LOL......Probably need to take another reviewer's suggestion and permanently attach together.....Good luck to you large mattress owners!

I needed to lift my bed up because setting the mattress on a piece of plywood made it too low, but using the box spring made it too high. Plus, I wanted greater floor clearance, so I could stuff more crap underneath.Enter these little guys. I've no idea why the hell they sell these in sets of 6, but...whatever. I'd rather have 2 too many than 2 too few.

Nice and solid. The top cup that the bed frame actually sits on seems a little larger then advertised and some of mine already had dings and scratches but I didn't really care since they were going under my bed. Wish they were sold individually since I only needed 5 but I would purchase again for sure.

I just put these on. Seem to work fine. I wish they had rubber on the bottom though so they wouldn't slide. Otherwise, so far so good!

The risers appear to be sturdy, but did not fit my bed posts. Only time will tell if my bed doesn't slip off.

I love these, they are very durable.

Perfect for our lifting our bed so we can send the little robot vacuum cleaner underneath. These are steel, so they are very sturdy. You can add the top if you need to, but we just used the base.
