A solid investment
I've had several pairs of the plastic risers & managed to break most of them. I have a queen with the middle support, so I've always had to buy 2 sets of whatever risers they had because they only came in sets of 4. I was on here originally looking for 6" wood risers. But not only are they difficult to find, but the sticker shock was a little more than I was expecting. Multiply that by the two that I would have to order & well you get the idea. So when I saw these, I wasn't sure, my whole bedroom is wood, I wanted wood. But then I realized that I had been living with plastic for all of these years that I hated, these were smaller around, I use every square inch under mu bed for storage, so I went for it. They were a great deal, they are amazingly sturdy, not much, but still smaller than the plastic ones, and I got the brown ones, so they still blend in with my colors of my decor so you don't notice them. And I only had to order one set. And I believe I got them in about a week, maybe nine days. Overall, very satisfied & would absolutely buy these again.

These are great and sturdy!
This is my second set of risers. The first set I tried from another Seller was plastic. Just looking at those I could tell there was no way they were going to support my heavy bed, so I returned them. These were my next purchase and they are sturdy and metal. They do a great job of giving my bed added height and I have no worries about them breaking/collapsing. Now I have my under the bed storage space which I really needed. Plus, I love that these came with 6 risers because my bed frame has 6 legs. Also, I like that the bed leg doesn't need to sit deeply into the riser cup, so you get most of the riser height added to the bed height.I do have 2 tips: First, in the beginning my bed legs did slide a little at the top of the riser cup. The cup has a lip so I wasn't concerned about the legs popping out, but I had read the reviews that suggested buying stabilizers at the hardware store. I ran it by my handyman and since I intended to keep these on my bed frame always, we just used a glue called "Hard as nails" and that completely did the trick to adhere the bottom of my frame leg to the top of the cup. No more sliding whatsoever. My second tip is if you need to put some kind of slider or floor protector under the risers, add it to the bottom of the riser before attach them to the bed. Just makes things easier.

Best Bedrisers I've ever had
They hold more weight than any set I've ever had. This is my first heavy duty metal pair and I am Not disappointed. Their durability and strength speak for themselves. Completely worth the bit of extra money they cost compared to other sets made from different material. I haven't had them for Too long but am counting on not having to buy plastic ones every year or so anymore. People have talked about their beds falling off and such until they go buy the necessary stabilizing materials from Lowes or Home Depot - don't let that discourage you. The very top of the riser comes apart (you can look at the picture of the white riser to easily see which part detaches) and all it really takes is a single small screw and washer in each leg to completely stabilize everything. Once you screw the small detachable part to the bottom of the bed leg you can set the the part of the riser with length perfectly aligned underneath it and it won't fall anywhere. Ultimately making these the best designed risers I've ever seen - because after a single screw in each your bed's not going Anywhere. Also my and my husband sleep in the same bed each night, and he does a fairly strange amount of jumping on the bed too. So far they've held up through everything without any signs of weakness! Woop Woop party on my bed!

OK but keep your balance
yeah tryinging to get these all to go up is a pain. The two peice design sucks but you can work with it for the most part? If putting these up yourself find a wall to butt the frame up into it before trying to put the bed up and then work your way away from the wall putting the risers in under the legs of the bed. Storage space below the bed is tremendous now so it severed its purpose!

The last bed risers you will need
I love these bed risers!!I purchased a different set of risers that ended up breaking my metal bed frame which left me both upset and in a worse place than before since I could not put anything under the bed. I decided to buy a new bed frame and risers. I went with the queen sized Sleepys Titan 2 frame which has 6 legs and came with 6 glider feet and 4 wheels. I took some advice from a review on here and went to Home Depot with one of the bed stand in hand and purchased some nuts, bolts and washers to secure the little cup on the bed risers from slipping. Works perfectly!!My Titan 2 bedframe sits 7 1/2 inches off the ground with the glider feet. Adding these 6 inch bed risers gave me 13 inches of vertical storage space under the bed. Perfect for gym equipment and computer boxes. These stands were expensive IMO but way better than the Shepherds bed stands that broke my bed frame so I literary got what I paid for and my Queen sized bed never been so sturdy!.

Will withstand a lifetime of use.
Will withstand what plastic will not. A previous design was engineered to hold the upper section without the need of a bolt and nut and had a depression to keep the round leg of the frame firmly in the middle of the riser.

Using for entertainment center
I wanted to get my tv stand with components off the floor a little more so my big feet wouldn't obstruct my view when lounging. Got a 73" Mitsu projection tv, heavy amp, sat receiver, blu ray, a couple game systems, turntable, and a big center speaker all on the stand. Wanted something that would definitely hold the weight, and these risers fit the bill. Wasn't too worried about appearance, but it's not bad. I have hardwood floors and I cut some heavy sticky-back felt and attached it to the bottoms. Now I can slide my stand around the floor nicely as needed without scratching. I did as another reviewer advised, and got some screws and bolts to attach the top dish part of the riser permanently. If you get the right size bolt, it will sit flush in the indentation of the dish- thanks E. Johnson. I have had them on now for more than a year and have absolutely no qualms with their construction or sturdiness. Very happy.
