I am doing a renovation at a cottage that has no furniture so I needed a bed. I was a little leery of inflatable beds because of the experience I had with another one that I had borrowed from my son. It kept deflating through the night and it had to be re-inflated daily. It was not so comfy either, and it was difficult for me to get out of (I'm a senior). I can't say how surprised and impressed I was after I tried the King Koil Luxury Air Mattres. I added an 1 1/2 inch foam topper and a mattress pad. I wanted the foam topper because I am a child sleeper and this keep me warm and comfy. This thing is just as comfortable as our bed at home. It does not deflate, but it might need a little top up every 3 or 4 days. It's easy to inflate with the built-in pump, and it's easy to get out of because it is 20 inches high. In fact, I can easily sit on the edge of the bed without any problem. I like that the head of the mattress is raised a little, it helps keep the pillows on the bed. I followed the instructions to inflate it and let it site for 48 hours so the initial PVC smell dissipates. The large bag provided is convenient for storing the bed when not in use. So far I have slept on this mattress for over two weeks and I just can't say much I love it. 5 / 5 stars, highly recommended.

I've had the mattress now for a little more than a week. It works as advertised. The inflating is quick and easy, though the air pump is incredibly loud. Using the air pump to deflate is great as well, here you have to make sure to get ALL the air out as folding it to fit into the provided bag is not the easiest task but certainly much easier than others. Couple of things to note. The mattress needs a top-up every couple of days for 10 seconds, not a big issue and well described in the provided documentation. If you are sleeping in a cool environment, you need to make sure you sleep on top of another thicker blanket, if you sleep just on a bed sheet, the heat gets sucked out of you and by the next day it feels like you slept in a snow bank. My first night I experienced this, once I have a better thermal blanket to sleep on top of, it was perfectly fine. I am a 225 lbs in weight and it was quite comfortable and there was no excessive depression in the mattress, which was the surprising aspect, so the interior air coil system works well. Overall it seems like a great buy.

We were very impressed with the height, the comfort, the quick inflation and quick deflation! I was also pleased to see that it folded up pretty easily so that it fit in the storage bag. For the price, it is an excellent way to provide another place to sleep!
