The spray sound scared the cat but the gel was good for her. I purchased this product on Oct 17th.PM It’s Oct 22nd and she has a very small dried spot that’s almost healed. I was able to take the cone off to give her a break. The spot was big & raw. She sliced herself with her own claw. That’s how it started. Slice was 1inch long & she made it raw all around. A friend suggested this product to me. His daughter is a veterinarian. High five!

We have been using this product on large open wounds first on our dogs---for which it was prescribed----and then on ourselves. When a Bobcat slashed the shoulder from shoulder to shoulder of our little terrier and the wound was so open the shoulder muscles were very visible, this product was prescribed for the wound. We used the gel as it was more gently to apply and there was no hissing sound as with the spray. The open wound healed within six days and the hair grew back across his shoulders. The Bobcat's deep bite areas on the terrier's hip healed within the same amount of time. Recently, another of our terriers was attacked by a coyote with deep wounds in his throat and hips. The neck wound and several other wounds were sutured for some reason and not topical medication was prescribed. Having experience with Veterinus Derma Gel's wonderful healing qualities, we used Derma Gel on this terrier's wounds. They healed within three days. It's now available for humans as well.

This is a great product! We have used it in horses, cattle and dogs. Heals fast and is great when you cannot cover the wound.

If you have a horse or dog you just can not go without this product in your barn!!!! I have used this on a horse that I cared for after having face torn away. Sewed back on once stitches removed kept derma gel on it was amazing to watch how fast the healing went and the hair grew back same color. If you didn't know of injury you would not notice. Another horse of mine had something empale him in neck. Once the closing began used derma gel all over it and it can not be seen and color grew back the same. Just amazing product!!! Keeps the wound hydrated for healing.I have not found a product for humans that work this good and this fast!!! I could be a spokes person for this product!!!

This healed a gaping skin tear in one of my dogs in record time. I was away and came back to find that she had torn a hole in herself but nobody had taken her for stitches, and the wound edges had sealed to the underlying tissue.Normally I'd have looked for something like granulex or trypsin-L but I saw this on Amazon and that I could get it in two days so I ordered this instead. I used this product and every day the opening was smaller and smaller. It's totally filled in now and most of the hair has grown back. Basically has gone from the size of a quarter to the size of an english pea. Very happy with the product. Would use for any wound you can't get stitched because of either location or some other factor.
