Not useful without modification
As another review stated, the nut/spline tool is captive on the torx bit shaft. As the required 17mm spanner will not fit over the torx bit's 1/2" socket an open ended spanner has to be used. I found 2 reasonable quality and one good quality spanner all couldn't provide and / or take the required torque. As a result I chose to grind off the flange at the end of the torx shaft to allow the splined bit to be removed, enabling a ring spanner's use, which in turn allowed enough torque application (= a lot!) to remove my audi alternator pulley. So, did the job, but only with a mod.

its very well engineered. Not as good value as a kit.
Thats really nice. I would consider buying the kit for £10 more however.Edit: the spline tool has a shim that stops the other spline tool fall off the end. This means you have to use the open end of the spanner and its no good. I had to press this apart to put the ring end of the spanner on, then a spanner on a spanner for leverage and a breaker bar. You cant do this without pressing the tool apart and then putting a spanner ring end on before using it.

Good quality & cheap but not ideal for limited space.
Bought to change the alternator pulley on my seat ibiza, appears to be good quality and fitted both the splines on the pulley good with no movement. Only negative is depending on how limited you are for space due to the location of the alternator, I had to remove my alternator as couldn't fit the tool in the space of the engine bay (due to some box section) but my alternator fits lower down on the engine.
