Review: Convenient product - Sometimes, I don't feel like waiting for potatoes to cook through. These instant potato flakes are convenient to have on hand for such times. Preparation is super simple. Just add water, milk, salt, and butter. I grew up on this stuff. Quality, taste, and texture are the same as they were back then. For added convenience, I'll premeasure portions of potato flakes, add the proper amounts of salt, dry milk and butter powders. Just add hot water when ready to use. We also use the product in other ways: to thicken soups and stews, make spudnuts and waffles, and it's also become a key ingredient to our go-to pot pie crust recipe. One minor complaint though, the factory packaging doesn't do the best job at maintaining freshness, or totally keep tiny pantry pests out. The quantity is a good value if your family can consume the product by the "Best By" date. We've promptly repackaged the product with oxygen absorbers and kept it in vacuum sealed mason jars to extend the shelf life. However, a 5-gallon food safe bucket will do better a better job than the boxes.

Sometimes, I don't feel like waiting for potatoes to cook through. These instant potato flakes are convenient to have on hand for such times. Preparation is super simple. Just add water, milk, salt, and butter. I grew up on this stuff. Quality, taste, and texture are the same as they were back then.
