This fan works great, I wasn’t sure if I needed a carbon filter but I’m glad I got one. It works very well. The hose that comes with it is really cheap, be careful if you need to cut it. It’s easy to tear. But everything else is good quality. I put mine on a humidity controller because at low speed 24/7 it was keeping my 4x8x8 tent humidity too low, it moves plenty of air. It is pretty quiet on low speed, I can’t hear it over the AC and grow light fans. But a couple extra 4” hose clamps if you don’t have any ducting for the exhaust side. I cut the provided hose in half and used one piece for filter to fan intake, and the other for exhaust. Just didn’t have enough hose clamps for that so I had to buy two more.

Firstly, I bought this for my cats litter boxes. We set it up minimize the oder. It works better than I expected. Second, the fan is made cheaply. The body of the fan is all plastic and came in two pieces that don't fit well, but it does what's it is made for. Moving air. It was not as loud as I expected.

Have used this for two years and it still works strong and will keep air flowing through my grow tent.

Got this for a 4x4 grow tent. It was easy to assemble but like other have mentioned, you’ll want to pick up another set of duct brackets since you’ll probably use the set they give you hooking the fan to the filter with a short piece of ducking. In terms of operation, the fan seems to move decent air although it’s fairly loud. It can rattle a bit running at its lowest setting with the controller and at its highest setting I can hear it downstairs despite it being set up mid-way down the hall upstairs. Granted I have hardwood floors which may make the sound travel a bit more but I do wish I had researched quieter fans prior to buying this kit. Overall it’s a decent starter kit but I’ll probably upgrade next year if I get more serious into growing.

Using as exhaust fan for 2x2 tent with one weed in it. Immediately dropped humidity and temp down to perfect levels. Plant took off and bushed out. Fan is nothing special but works well.

Works fine, speed from low to high is significant. It's not silent, but not too loud, especially inside a wall, floor or grow tent. Fits together well, though I had to cut the filter's opening to fit the ducting over it. Keeps two tents with 1200w and 2000w LEDs around 83 degrees on medium speed setting in a room that's about 73 degrees.

The shipping is Very fast. The quality is that of something that would cost twice as much.

Ok, so first of all it pulls air, so works for the money. Some issues; it doesnt come with any hanging straps, so youll need to hang with rope or wire, too heavy for string as I found a couple of times. Also, it seems louder/vibrates more when using speed controller option, so I tossed that aside and just used full on. Lastly, the 8’ tubing probably wont be sufficient unless using a small tent.

Everything works out of box.Since they only give 2 duct clamps I was short one as I needed hose to connect the filter to the fan, i thought I could attach them without hose but oh well l. So now I need another clamp for attaching a hose to the exaust side of the fan.Other then that it all worked out perfectly, and the speed setting attachment makes ease of use a breeze.

Overall this filter and fan is okay but if I could go back I would have just spent more on something nicer. The fan does not fit directly into the filter even with the clamps provided, which is crazy annoying. I have the fan on the lowest speed currently and the noise isn't too bad, but running it on anything higher and I can see it getting annoying. The sound of the fan has also changed/increased over time so I have a feeling it will not have the longest life.

Worked perfectly for the first day. Second day, as soon as you dimm the fan passing the high to medium setting you can hear a big noisy sound comming from the fan. Now its been near a month i need to run the fan at full speed .. dont even think dimming her a bit now theres a even worst sound coming from the control box mounted on the fan..HORRIBLE ! I mean when i opened the box i thought ive made a good choice now im trying to get a refund or an exchange and they dont sell the fan anymore ...
