This is an awesome ice maker. We fish in the great NW and with the cost of the a bag of ice these days you could go broke in a few seasons. We make ice and then store it in a oversized freezer. The nice features of this item are the auto overfill prevention (stops when it's full) and the cleaning cycle. The ice is always fresh tasting, too...after a long day of fishing a nice cold drink is just a few cubes away. We did not build it in so we can store it in the winter. Great machine.
