Worked well measuring Welding root gaps
Worked great while I was in welding school to measure welding roots on pipe and plate

Well constructed and easy to use and read - but not for shallow blind holes...
While this gauge didn't work for my purposes, I found it to be well constructed and easy to use. Basically a metal ruler you stick in a hole you want to measure the width of (between 1 and 15 mm), and the depth it sinks to is the width, easily readable by the markings in 10ths of a millimeter. The gauge has two sides; the second side has imperial measurements up to 5/8" in 1/64 inch graduations. The markings are engraved and easily readable. Where I found problems was in a "blind hole" I was attempting to measure - the hole wasn't deep enough for me to stick the gauge in and get a proper measurement before the hole bottomed out. I contacted Bestgle about this, and they said they would look into it and see what was available. I have since looked into this, and found there were other solutions to blind hole measurement - so tools do exist. Maybe in the future Bestgle will sell them as well.

It calibrated and worked
If your a welding inspector it works for gaps and was accurate enough to calibrate.

Useful but could use some work
This can be a very useful tool if the user understands its limitation. Agree with prior reviews, markings are clear and easy to read. A digital micrometer confirms the gauge width is accurate. However, at a constant 2.25 mm thickness, hole measurement accuracy is degraded (see photos) as the (round) holes gets progressively smaller. No issue with reading slots or squares. To 'fix' the tool requires scaling the readings non-linearly to compensate for thickness, or alternatively, reducing the thickness toward the small hole end. Anther consideration - the edges of this tool are quite squared-off; if slipped into a soft material there will be a tendency for the sharp edges to dig in, and drop deeper than it ought. But overall, it is going to be a highly useful go-to tool for the hobbyist, right up there with thread gauges, etc.... - as long as the user understands the limitations.

Love it. Use it fir setting Venturi gap on fireplace burners.

Measure the gap
Can also be used as a self defense weapon when the QC gets made at you for failing the bolt up due to fish mouthing or uneven parallelism.
