The product is ok, but it does not connect to the Google Play store. They claim it does, it is even listed as bullet point #3, but I have spent 5 hours trying to download a media player and my device does not show up in the device listing for the Google Play store. The problem is inherently with Google. Their onboard video player only plays audio and no video. Worthless. Not sure if mine is defective, but I am going to return it. If you can't use Google Play to download anything this Chromebook is worthless. This means you are stuck with whatever comes on the device. This is a a major fail. I will contact the seller and see if they offer any solutions and update.

Purchased this computer for my fiancé for Christmas. I gave it to him a little early because Ou concerned that he was not going to like it and I would not be able to return it during the return window. He was happy that he received a gift however, the product was very glitchy. Not only that, but the speakers went out, the first night of him watching movies. He travels for work, and the company that he works for does not pay for them to have entertainment on the television. This laptop was going to be a game changer for him. Since he is going to be able to edit his résumé, as well as watch movies . Can’t watch movies without sound in his case. Besides, the glitching and slow processing in the speakers not working it looks goods. The product does not have backlight for the keyboard. The battery life is amazing. The screen is very average. If you’re watching a movie with someone sitting next to you and you’re in bed you cannot see from the side. Planning to return this product ASAP so that I may get him some thing that actually works properly.

No backlit keyboard, poor image/screen quality; bad for watching video, short battery life. Really a dog compared to the other Acer chromebooks that I've owned. I made a mistake buying this one and suggest you avoid repeating my mistake.

I had high hopes, but they were dashed in a couple of hours of use when battery indicator showed it needed to be charged AGAIN! Even after changing settings to conserve battery life, I can’t type more than a couple of hours before I need to connect to a power source. Gave it 1 star for price and what’s included, but I got this to work on my book wherever I am and what good is a laptop that needs to be connected after only a couple hours? Talk about blocking creative flow!

It’s a little over two weeks out and I have a damn dead computer. I couldn’t be more aggravated. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some assistance. I can’t return it because it’s two weeks. Well, guess what? It’s the first part of September and the damn thing is dead again what is going on with Acer and I can’t find a number to get in touch with them This is disgusting. Think twice before you buy this

I purchased this new Chromebook as my last one was too old to receive updates. Checked reviews and thought I was making a good choice at the time. The speed is ridiculously slow, it's beyond frustrating. My internet speed is perfect, so not the problem. Now I'm past the return window and just really disappointed.

The screen is not Full HD (1920x1080), but a mere 1366x768 -- way off the specification. What makes things even worse, it's not IPS panel with wide angle, but a low-quality LCD screen that has FOV about 20 degrees, if I tilt my head -- the color seen by one eye does not match the color seen by another eye -- this leads to eyestrain and headaches after an hour. I'm returning this item and recommend to avoid crappy screens, and protect your eyes and your health.
