It is very hard to find well made irons. This iron is light weight but an excellent buy. It works very well and heats up quickly. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. I read reviews that there was moisture in the water tank and people believed it was an item that was returned and resold. There was condensation in the water tank but the plug had a very sturdy plastic lock on it to prevent it from being plugged in before purchase. I am satisfied with my purchase and recommend this Black and Decker iron.

Only used it once so far, and I have to say that it's a whole lot better than the previous irons I've owned that I spent in excess of $130 for... I'll know better after more usage. As of this first run, it's worth every penny and more! And as far as people complaining about drops of water in the unit when received, they have a note in the box stating that your unit might have water residue in it due to testing before releasing the product, it's not pre-used as people are stating. They can't read... If your looking for a decent iron, you can't go wrong especially for the price!

This iron is light for a 1500 watt. Exactly what I wanted. Heats fast and presses smoothly.

I purchased this to replace my Rolwenta of 12+ years, and it exceeded my expectations on all points. It is lightweight, heats quickly and delivers great amount of steam. I especially liked how easy it is to fill and the water level is easy to see in the water tank. Appreciated the tip about watching the cord when standing on the heel, but easy to do a quick check and I didn’t find it to be a problem. I don’t know anyone who likes to iron, but this one definitely makes it easier.

I spent way too much time shopping for an iron and finally found this one. I am replacing my Shark iron which I don't think they make anymore. A lot of irons out there are soo big and hard to handle. I found this iron to be what I wanted. It is the perfect size for me. Dual steam and water spray. The temp dial is on the top and is easy to access. Heats up quickly and has nice steam and large tank for water. Glides nicely with ceramic soleplate. Highly recommend.
