Q: Why does it take 1-3 months to ship?

I got mine with in one week. Usually when they say 1 to 3 its to give them time for get more inventory when they sell out or its from outside of the US.

Q: Would a 4 year old be able to play with this set or would it be too difficult for them? The box says 5-12.

It's too easy for a 4 year old kid, because are instructions using 10-15 pcs, also she can use it for a lot of things that doesn't need instructions, just to be creative... hope it helps.

Q: are all the characters european looking? I have a four year old biracial granddaugter,her mother enjoyed leggoes
