Very flimsy
Really flimsy and arrived damaged. It should pick up some strength when it gets installed on a bed of mortar but I'm not willing to risk it. I returned this and bought a Kohler.

Disappointed
Well I received base number 2, damaged like the first one. Packaging is very poor, for acouple dollars to add foam corners for protection and put the heavy drain cover in padded package so that it doesn’t slide around making holes in the base! Product looks good, if ever could be delivered in one piece.

Check for damage.
The 5 pound solid metal drain plate is free to flop around and destroy this product. Replaced 4 of them before I got one that wasn’t a “total” nightmare. Amazon. American standard. Package this correctly. Ship drain plate separately.

poor packing
I ordered this shower pan twice and both times it arrived damaged. Terrible packing by American Standard. Too bed because the product is really nice. Ended up buying from a different manufacturer because could not get this shower pan to arrive in one piece
