I bought this for my son who is 12 but is starting to get more into style and beauty products. He was using my husband's very expensive cologne so we decided to get him his own. This fragrance is soft and clean. The bottle is huge and for the price you can't beat it. The quality is great, the bottle was in good condition, the sprayer worked perfectly. It's a fresh and subtle smell that's long lasting.

Having never smelled the original and not caring about name brands, I do have some thoughts on this cologne. The scent starts out with a bit of a strong alcohol scent that dies down as it dries. It smells clean and nice. I would describe it as a light scent that could be dressed up or down but gives more of a classy scent like that inside a suit store rather than a teen axe smell inside of a mall. This is a good smell for a variety of ages. An older gentleman or a young man could wear it. I wouldn't describe it as rugged or warm. However I think it lends itself to multiple uses, I think you could wear this cologne to a wedding, a funeral, a party, work, or even just out shopping or dining. Its not obnoxious or disrespectful. The frosted glass and the bottle look elegant. It also lasts at least 8 hours. Overall I think this is a great purchase for the reasonable price I payed the bottle is a good size.

I recently started getting into fragrances. I've gotten many bottles and samples from famous designers. Honestly, this is the best purchase I've made "bang for your buck" wise. I just used it for the first time today. I received a compliment from a female coworker who said it smelled great (just pointing that out for you single guys out there) I usually wear Versace Eros Flame to work and have yet to get a compliment on that.
