Perfect for sparkling water lovers!
You will need a CO2 soda stream cylinder to run this device. When you plug it it works perfect, sparkling water of high quality in milliseconds.More than 50 liters with one cylinder!

Faulty product, not working. Smeg not repairing/replacing product
Utterly useless. The seal is broken and thus the gas leaks when carbonating water. Company is not forthcoming in fixing this. There are many cheaper and better devices on the market.

Gas cylinders run out very quickly
I have had this soda maker nearly three months now having previously owned sodastream soda makers in the past.I bought this one having read good reviews and really liking the style of it. It is easy to use but on the negative side I have found that the cylinders run out of gas very quickly as it seems to take a lot of the gas to make one bottle on fizzy water. One gas cylinder would give me about a month's supply of fizzy water with the sodastream but only about one week's worth with this Smeg. I have contacted Smeg and not found them to be very helpful so far suggesting that the gas cylinders are faulty but I cannot believe i have had a run of over 6 faulty cylinders. So my conclusion is that it must be the Smeg soda maker itself - either the one I have may be faulty or it is a general design flaw. Disappointing overall.
