Brilliant book.I bought because I have fallen in love with Tuscany and have visited many times. I needed something that showed me how to make some of the amazing Tuscan food to make at home in the dreary UK.So good I bought a second to share with the family.

I really loved this book. Many great recipes that are easy to follow resulting in excellent food. The book also has a nice look and feel, which makes it even more fun and inspiring to use.

A great present for a great guy. Criteria for the perfect book was Italian Mamma but male chef. Perfect combo.

A good all round collection of recipes from the author's Tuscan roots. The simple dishes, based around beans, pasta and rice, are probably the best, the fish dishes rely too much on the Med - swordfish, mullet etc ... not the same in grey and cloudy Britain.The almondy sweets and biscuits will repay investigation, and apart from the fish and the occasional foray into black truffles, veal and hare, are mostly concocted with everyday ingredients.
