Napa's site say's this filter will fit my 2.4 07 jeep patriot but amazon's says' it won't. Should I take the word of the mfg. Napa over amazon?

I have seen that from time to time. What I do is check Autozone & Advanced Auto Parts online. Once I have 2 or 3 brand name filter model numbers you can "cross reference" them to find your answer. I would check no matter what, but I think NAPA is very good at what they do. I also like to use "Wix" as a cross reference because they usually make the filters for just about everybody. Make sure you stick to Napa GOLD because it is better than most of the rest. I do oil analysis and have found my "system" to be very good. I do a complete oil & filter change. Then at 3500 miles, just a filter change. Then at 7000 miles another filter only. Then at 10,500 miles a complete oil & filter change. When tested at 10,500 miles, the oil report comes back good and still OK to use for more miles. My BMW M3 holds 7.5 Qts. & the Porsche holds 10.5 Qts, so I like to get the most out of my synthetic oil. I use Shell Rotella T6 fully synthetic. Hope that helps! Steve.

Looking for 20,000 mile performance will this give it?

Not sure…, I use these for max 10,000 miles usually a bit below even that(if you believe what you see on YouTube you’d use it… i like them(jeep 4x4)
