The padded area does not leave pressure around the eye to cause any discomfort. It also has a adjustable elastic band for around your head to make sure you have a comfortable fit of your choosing. And when needing washed I wont have any hesitation or concerns if its going ro hold up or fall apart. on hThey are light weight and come with a silk carrying bag and ear plugs. Definitely more than I was expecting. I am very glad I purchased these because they have helped out tremendously with my day sleeping.
