Hard to unroll, had to lay in sun to soften enough to lay flat, over carpet hard to roll chair due to mat not sinking at the same rate

The mat is Very tightly rolled up in a small diameter. The points on the plastic, meant to secure it to a rug are very sharp. This makes it very difficult to unroll and set out. Perhaps it will flatten out, but it's so stiff, at this point I doubt it.

The pad is too thin to work with even very short carpet - my chair simply sinks into the plastic as it did before into the carpet. It's also heavy and very tightly coiled when it arrives, it ended up flat enough after a couple days in the sun with weights on it but was a royal pain to unroll. I could live with the handling issue if it had actually worked as a pad.

So the mat is as advertised but the way it's rolled up so tight for shipping makes it a nearly impossible task to unroll alone when it arrives. It took me at least 30 minutes and I was having to grab anything that weighed over 50lbs just to assist me.

If working from home, this is a good option. It works for us and we are happy with it. 👍 Keep in mind, it is not large but adequate size (see measurements).
