Seems to work just fine. Used it on a nickel plated revolver and it did shine it up and did not notice finger prints....time will tell

I’d never used a gun wax before, like most I’d just oil the outside of the gun down and put them away. I’ve used the Flitz products for polishing metal, but the wax is a game changer. Easy application and it’s everything as they’ve described. No residue, no fingerprints and leave a quality shine on the wood. Some people may not know, but blood on any blueing is very detrimental and can remove it over night. This is an added insurance protection that’s worth every dollar.

Works great keeping rust off my high carbon knives I haven't tryed it on my hunting rifle yet but I feel it will work amazing on that too as long as you keep it away from the action as I feel it may make it slightly gummy

This wax is really good for using on knives, especially bead blasted blades as those rust so easily. I find I need to re-apply every couple of months to every few months depending on if I use it on a folder which is in my pocket and getting used a lot, or on a fixed blade that I carry but do not use as often, and of course it depends on what you use your knife for.
