How and Why they work!
I love these pads. This review will address two major things, the help sleeping and the detox/scam belief.I have not slept well in years. I work nights and any sleep meds or even melatonin leave me sleepy for over 24hrs after taking them. After putting these on I’m asleep in 30-45 minutes rather than the 2-3 hours it usually takes to fall asleep. I also don’t wake up every hour, in fact, I only wake if I have to use the restroom. I have missed a day here or there and have issues both falling and staying asleep on those days. Now on to the controversial reason some people buy them and others think they are a scam: they are not a scam! If you stick a piece of garlic on the bottom of your foot, in about an hour, you’ll have garlic breath. Your feet are super absorbent. Yes, the pad turn black even if you put distilled water on them. In fact, if your feet don’t sweat and the pads are staying white, I recommend you do that before applying them. The black is an indication that you sweat and the powder became wet and was absorbed into your body and is therefore working. It does cause your body to do a detox. Toxins by the way are mostly sweat out or come out through using the bathroom. Your feet have spots that affect different parts of your body. This is why putting Vicks vapor rub on the bottom of your feet in a specific spot works. You have to hit the sinus spot of your foot for it to actually work though. The part of your foot these pads go, connect directly to your digestive system. It triggers your digestive system to detox. Research the actually ingredients and you can see how they all help.Oh and the BBQ smell I’ve seen in the comments comes from the bamboo charcoal and vinegar. Hope this helps some of you figure out whether you want to buy or not. I for one, love them!

So far, very good!!
For the past year, I have really become obsessed homeopathic remedies. I know that the largest pores are on the bottom of the feet so when I saw these foot detox products, I started researching them. I chose this one because the reviews were all very promising. I’ve used them for the past four nights. The box says to wear socks over the pads. Personally, since menopause, I absolutely hate wearing socks to bed, but I did it. It still took quite a while for me to fall asleep, not sure if it’s because of the socks being so irritating, but once I was asleep, I sleep very soundly. The second night I decided not to wear the socks and the pads were fine. they stayed on no problem with no leakage. It still took quite a while to fall asleep but again, I slept soundly through the night. The third night I did not wear socks and the pads did come loose in a few spots but there was no mess with them, which I was happy about. Last night, I wore socks over the pads again (not quite as irritating), and I have to say I fell asleep within half an hour, and I slept like a rock. All four mornings, when I’ve woken up, I’ve been in a very good mood with a lot of energy and a clear mind. Hit the ground running type of thing which I do give credit to the pads. Taking them off, they do not smell nice. Not horrible either. I just keep a washcloth next to the sink so in the morning I peel them, off throw them in the trashcan, wipe my feet down with soap and water or jump in the shower. I’m a full-time caregiver for my mom, so I always like to try things out before I have her do them. This is definitely one that I will do with her.

Good night's rest
I used them on my feet and they are great. Pulls out impurities and gives me a good nights sleep. Only get the ones that say 2 in 1. Wearing socks over them is a must! They are easy to use and a good value for your money. I recently bought some in Singapore, but these were better.

Dr. Charcoal and Nurse Grime
To start, I laughed a little when I first saw these pads. But, I live an active lifestyle and my aging body doesn’t keep up as it did years ago. Soreness lasts longer after work outs. Stress and reduced sleep increases as pain takes longer to subside. To be clear, these pads aren’t the hands of Jesus attached to the feet with duct tape, but they’re effective. I tried them because there came a point in my life when I realized that traditional/primary medicine is only as effective as the zeros in a patient’s wallet. Patients are also at the mercy of the level of endurance their doctor has to discover a cure for the person’s ailments - some doctors are drones merely relaying technological data that spews from their fancy machines. The faster machines have become over the years, the less patient and driven doctors have been, in my opinion. Let’s be real, in my experience, the medical field has become sort of a fine dining restaurant that has forced me to seek out fast casual food I can afford. And like fast casual food, I quickly learned that alternative/holistic options in healthcare tend to offer a person more for their money. Sure, meds and doctors are necessary and effective, but they’re also very expensive and cause a person to wonder what he/she just paid multiple zeros for (similar to the tiny portions of food served at fine dining restaurants). In other words, I learned that things like BCAAs, CBD, Acupuncture, and Chiropractic care are highly effective and less expensive than doctors with amazing machines and little time to endure for their patients. Which leads me to these foot pads: they’re great for muscle and mental fatigue. They reliably stick to the feet (with socks), they’re easy to apply and remove, and they increase energy as a person consistently uses them. In my experience, I’ve been using them for little over a month and have noticed better sleep, less fatigue and soreness, and an overall calmness. I do not notice improved foot odor, because nothing does that better than soap and water, in my opinion. If anything, they make the feet smell like charcoal or bbq sauce. For the first 3 weeks (in 5 day periods as recommended), the pads were soaked in black grime after I removed them from my feet 6-8 hours later. (By comparison, they are dry like bandaid pads prior to adhering them to the feet.). During the 4th week, they were half black grime and half dry by morning. To me, they are effective and I plan to continue using them, especially the nights of exercise workouts and stressful days. To newbies, I recommend 5 days per week for 4 weeks straight, then wear them at your discretion as I plan to do, unless your black grime is more than mine was 4 weeks in.
