Great For High Frame Rate Gaming, Not Good For Much Else.
Context: Previously I was using a Acer Nitro 144Hz IPS panelPros:The monitor is a dream for competitive FPS games and any other games that leverage high frame rates. A lot less ghosting compared to my previous screen and everything just feels much more responsive and smooth. It also matches well as a twin monitor to my older Acer Nitro 144Hz as they have a very similar design and size. Also can't argue with that price. I thought the experience would be quite bottled down by some caveats here and there but the monitor is everything it claims to be and that makes it a steal for $150.Not much else to say other than 250Hz is VERY smooth and I love it!Cons:Now for the bad stuff. Going from maining an IPS panel to a VA panel is way worse than I thought it would be. The colors a really washed out. Narrative games and any media I watch look much worse on this and the viewing angles are bad. It's definitely not TN panel bad but you still notice it quite a bit.Additionally despite having less ghosting than the IPS panel I was using, I would not put it in the same league as some of the top 240Hz monitors on the market. 10 extra Hz does not mean this monitor is going to be better than those premium 240Hz panels.
