 Had this gas leak detector tested carefully, glad to say that it does its job as advertised. I like the fact that it acts really really fast, as most other similar ones respond few seconds slower. Easy to use, good performace, well worthy the price.

Very simple detector to use in kitchen to detect a gas leak. After leaving a stove burner on with no flame, we had a gas leak and needed a solution to alert us before smelling the natural gas odor throughout the house. This detector simply plugs in and occupies one outlet next to the stove. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the bright green light that continuously flashes indicating it is on, and all is well - it could be dimmer. Putting the coffee maker in front partially solved the issue.

Easy to set up, I discovered that fresh paint odors will set it off. I know it is doing it's job but it was a surprise that I did not expect. Other than that it works great.

We purchased this sensor for our camper. We haven't had it sound off for anything, luckily. But it's small and out of the way. Muy husband doesn't like the lights around the sides because even the smallest light keeps him up at night.

I really wanted to like this natural gas detector. It was the right size and it wasn't a complete eyesore. Unfortunately, the light flashes the entire time and everytime it flashes it makes this annoying ultrasonic sound. I couldn't live with that and had to return it.

The light is so bright it is like having a neon sign in the room. Unsuitable for use in bedrooms or living rooms or media center rooms. Support email bounced.

This item is smaller than I thought, which is good. I tested it with a butane lighter and it alarmed. You will not want this in an area you can see, because of the green glow off and on. Mine will get installed behind the television next to propane fireplace.

Have no idea if works but did not like the constant flashing green light.Just hope we don't need it!
