True Sons Foam Hair Dye for Men | Natural-Looking, Subtle Gray Coverage for Hair, Beard, Moustache, and Chest (True Black)

I read the reviews thoroughly before deciding to purchase the product. Some reviews were 5 star and some were 1 star. I thought due to the wide gap, it would be a gamble, but thought I would try none the less. Well, it turned out to be a bust. I ordered the color black. I don't have tons of white to cover, maybe 20%. The small bottle seemed as though it was not completely full and when the foam come out it appeared somewhat oxidized already. Meaning, they say the foam is supposed to be white and later start to turn color - when I dispensed the foam it was already a brown color (oxidized). I generously applied the foam as directed, left on for 20 min and it basically washed right out. Could barely tell that I colored at all. White hair was showing through after treatment. There was a mild odor and the fumes from the product were burning my eyes. Felt like I needed to put on safety goggles as the product was setting. After I rinsed, my eyes were still burning some. Also smelled faint odor during the night. Next day was fine, albeit the product was basically gone after the second rinse/shower in the morning though. I would highly RECOMMEND AGAINST purchasing this product. There is no ability to return. Waste of money.

The product did turn my grays to black and I was happy with the results, but maybe one hour later I could feel a rash forming which days later turned into blisters. I really was hoping that this product didn't cause a reaction to my skin but it did, 😪 IF YOU EXPERIENCED A BAD REACTION TO OTHER HAIR DYES, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

I use it on my beard weekly. Can achieve excellent results by: 1. Putting lotion on skin you want to minimize "staining". I say "staining" because it comes off, see #3. 2. Leave product on for at minimum 20 minutes, longer if you can. I usually have it on 25 minutes from the time I finish, which means some areas are on at least 30 minutes (since it takes some time to apply). 3. Use dish soap to completely remove "staining" on skin. It looks very dark, a bit funny, when you first rinse off product, don't freak out. But all the skin "stains" come off with a little scrubbing and dish soap. I use Dawn Ultra Concentrated and it works great after a few scrubs/rinses. If you follow the above, results really are excellent. My wife loves the look and it's very natural. Most people who say it didn't work don't leave it on long enough.

It is similar to any another PPD beard colors. It makes skin itchy.

This product used to work great when it was targeted specifically as a beard dye. Now it seems they’ve made it an all-in-one product (beard, hair, chest) and it just doesn’t work the same. The foam is too thin and frothy and doesn’t cover the beard the way it used too, which forces you to use more of it for a single dye and, worse, making each dye less effective. Looks like I’m going to have to find a replacement foam beard foam as this one no longer justifies the price.
